The Department of Transport and Logistics Management was formulated in July 2022. The formation of the department was driven by the need to manage the growing number of students. The department collaborates with the industry which helps the students not only to obtain class room knowledge but also practical knowledge.

The department of transport and logistics is a vital academic unit within our university, and we are committed to advancing knowledge and developing skills in the dynamic field of transport and logistics. Our mission as a department is to offer high-quality, industry-relevant education, research, and innovations in transport and logistics management, aimed at developing globally competitive transport and logistics professionals.The transport and logistics industry plays a critical role in driving economic growth,enabling global trade, and ensuring the efficient movement of goods and people. Inresponse to these demands, our department offers a range of academic programs that combine theoretical foundations with practical insights to prepare our graduates for success in both local and international markets. We currently run a Bachelor of Transport and Logistics Management and we are in the final approval stages of a Master of Transport and Logistics Management and the Diploma in Transport and Logistics Management. We also offer various short courses in transport and logistics management. We take pride in our dynamic curriculum, experienced staff, and strong industry partnerships, all designed to foster innovation, critical thinking, and hands-on problem-solving.
