The Forum provide leadership in provision of knowledge and information for capacity building and effective integration of Economics in decision making and practice. The aim is to improve welfare of citizens and households as well as socioeconomic transformation in Uganda, the region and beyond.

The MEF, exists as a semi autonomous unit within the Department of Applied Economics with a core goal to support the realization of the MUBS Mission by creating and providing information that will empower her clients to effectively manage the present and build a secure future.

The MUBS Economic Forum was established to close this gap through trainings, research and providing information to students and our stakeholders.
