Geofrey Kituyi Mayoka

Associate Professor of Information Systems & Dean of Vocational and Distance Education. Prof. Kituyi is a leading information systems expert with over 17 years of experience in research, education, and consultancy across multiple African and international institutions. He holds a PhD in Information Communication Technology (ICT University, Cameroon), an MSc in Information Systems (Makerere University), a Postgraduate Diploma in ICT Policy & Regulation, and a Bachelor’s in Business Computing

Academic Leadership

As Dean, he oversees the Faculty of Vocational and Distance Education, guiding curriculum revision, faculty development, and strategic planning. Actively engages in programme development at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, contributing to the design of online, blended, and vocational education offerings

Consultancy & Professional Practice

Executive Director of Digitex Business Solutions Ltd, specializing in ICT training, information systems design, and digital strategy for SMEs.

Consultant on major initiatives such as Uganda Communications Commission’s e-Booster programme and Swiss contact’s U‑Learn project evaluations
