E-learning Centre at Makerere University Business School was initially established as a project in 2013 and later formalized as Centre in 2016. Its creation was driven by the need to effectively integrate appropriate technologies and digital services to support and enhance the teaching and learning missions of the school, on-campus, between campuses, through online content delivery.

Role of the Directorate/Unit in MUBS

Facilitations of online teaching and assessment activities through the MUBS E-learning Platform (MUBSEP) and livestreaming of internal and external university events, such as public lectures, graduations, seminars, and conferences.

The E-learning Centre collaborates with various academic departments and administrative units within and outside MUBS to ensure smooth delivery of online courses, assessments, and other university activities such as National Curriculum Development Centre (NCDC)etc.
