Master of Business Administration (Evening)

Globally, the demand for Master of Business Administration is growing due to the interdisciplinary nature of the business-operating environment that requires a manager with wide range of business and management skills. MBA remains the dominant business degree that allows students to build a diverse network of professionals and practitioners from the different contexts. The programme normally attracts people with working experience who can then benefit from the management concepts using knowledge accumulated at the work place. The applicants are usually people in their early careers and would wish to acquire knowledge in business and management.

Though the global job market has changed drastically in recent years, employers still seek MBA degree due to its broad nature that allows the graduates to solve all business and management related problems in any discipline. A recent survey by the Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC) indicate that nearly two-thirds of employers’ plan to hire MBA graduates in the next three years as opposed to the discipline specific programmes. This is an indication that the job market for those pursuing an MBA programme is expected to remain strong in the coming years.
