The Department facilitates a wide range of law-related course units across all Business academic programs offered at the University, including Postgraduate, Undergraduate, Diploma, and Certificate levels. Through these courses, students gain a deep understanding of how legal frameworks regulate and influence business activities both in Uganda and globally.

The study of law within business disciplines is vital in today’s dynamic economic environment. It equips learners with the ability to interpret and apply legal principles governing commerce, contracts, and corporate conduct. This legal insight enables our graduates to make informed business decisions, manage legal risks, and promote integrity, transparency, and accountability in their professional endeavours. The integration of law into business studies at MUBS has significantly enhanced the competence and employability of our graduates, who continue to make meaningful contributions to Uganda’s socio-economic development and the global business community.
