Barbara Kayondo is an accomplished academic with eleven years of experience in lecturing. She holds Master’s degrees in Management of ICTs, Policies, and Architectural Designs, as well as Monitoring and Evaluation. Barbara has published research papers in reputable journals and authored an ICT textbook which was certified by National Curriculum Development Centre and recommended for use secondary schools and tertiary institutions. Barbara is driven by a passion for philanthropy and aims to provide educational opportunities for underprivileged children, making a positive impact on society. In addition, Barbara is deeply committed to coaching, mentoring, and capacity building, particularly for junior staff and students. She has successfully established communities both in Kampala and at MUBS (EA Kampala and EA MUBS), with a primary focus on conducting impactful research that benefits both the current and future generations. Furthermore, Barbara takes on the role of organizing the proposal and grant writing group within the Information Systems department. In this capacity, she facilitates the mobilisation of resources to strengthen and advance the department and its faculty
