Kusemererwa Christopher PhD

Dr. Christopher Kusemererwa is a Senior Lecturer with nearly 18 years of experience at Makerere University Business School. He currently serves as the Head of the Department of Entrepreneurship & Innovation. Dr. Kusemererwa holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Entrepreneurship, an MBA in Project Planning and Management, a Postgraduate Diploma in Microfinance (PgDMF), and a Bachelor of Entrepreneurship and Small Business Management (BESBM).

He is a researcher in the field of entrepreneurship and a certified STEP (Student Training for Entrepreneurial Promotion) member and trainer under the MUBS Entrepreneurship, Innovation, and Incubation Centre. With nearly 15 years of experience as a business consultant, he has extensive practical expertise in developing training manuals, delivering business training, capacity building, conducting feasibility studies, preparing business plans and project proposals, formulating organizational strategic plans, and undertaking project/program evaluation and monitoring.

As a consultant, Dr. Kusemererwa has worked on numerous projects in entrepreneurship and related fields with institutions such as Stanbic Bank Uganda Limited (Enterprise Development Training Programme), Uganda Development Bank (Enterprise Development Project and Business Acceleration Program under the BASE initiative), and Enable (Work Readiness Program), among others.
