The Faculty of Procurement and Logistics Management was created on the 1st of July 2022.The purpose for creating the faculty was for having the Procurement and Logistics Department split into two departments i.e. the Department of Procurement and Logistics Management and the Department of Transport and Logistics Management. The aim for splitting the Department was for enhancing staff development within their respective lines of expertise and also being able to manage the increasing numbers of students. Also, the department was split so that staff recruitment in the faculty is balanced. Besides that, staff in the different departments will be able to creatively think and come up with programmes that will benefit the business school and the industry.
